Great product.  Can't wait to get it all in play.

I have created a page in a folder that takes the lat&long fine and displays (in the geolocation view) the right location on the map.

Went up to the folder containing the page/map and set the display to maps view.

THAT view/map, though, is not for the location of the page.

Am I missing something?

Actually, I've made great progress, but am unsure of just one thing.

In the geo location, I set the zoom level.  Of course it shows correctly in the map view below the form.

But when the portlet appears, while the location is correct, the zoom is not the zoom level I had set.  In fact, it looks like '0' zoom, or whatever default is.

How do I get the portlet to correctly display the zoom?

One other question: On the large view, I'd like to add some text above the map explaining how the user can click on google to go to google maps and do directions, etc. For the life of me, I can not find which template I need to customize.

Can you help?

When you click on 'Large screen' link on maps portlet, you get maps_view template which display a current item.

You need customize this template (maps_view.pt) for adding some text above the map.
