[qBlog 2.5.2] KeyError 'Portlet' and 'blogGlobals'

Dear Quintagroup Support,

I have upgraded your nice qBlog package version 2.5.2 from version 1.3.5 hoping to fix indexing issues with Google: lost links and duplicated headings.

The installation process of version 2.5.2 on the former version went fine, but now I cannot build a new blog folder due to a [KeyError: 'Portlet'] exception, nor access to the old blog folder as a visitor due to a [KeyError: 'blogGlobals'] exception.

How can I proceed to make the product working within my environment?
Will this upgrade fix the problem with Google?

Please check if you have customized SimpleBlog_macros. I can not reproduce the issue locally on fresh Plone site.

You are right: a fresh install works fine!
I have deleted all the legacy customizations.
